RESPONSIBILITIES:

Industrial Engineers lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects that result in continuous performance and service improvement, or meet changing business objectives in a highly dynamic distribution environment. Primary responsibilities will include: * Ensuring all distribution system functionality is configured to optimize performance. * Analyzing contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes and other data to develop design solutions. * Performing special research or technical studies critical to logistics support functions. * Performing cost/benefit trade off analysis and develop ROI business cases for recommended projects involving process, system or technology change. * During the course of a project, engineers are responsible for all project management functions. Through their knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office applications, standards, and equipment, they will provide solutions to specific problems that face the organization in a timely manner.

During projects, frequent travel may be required to various business units to collect data, meet with vendors/customers, and present findings. Presentations are frequently made to senior management as well as to hourly employees. In addition, the IE position will: * Provide documented training materials and lead hands on training.* Help determine key metrics and provide recommendations to guide management. * Provide analysis, design and support to operations.* Perform equipment selection, justification, and implementation

REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications-* Industrial engineering or related technical degree* 1-4 years of project management experience in distribution or equivalent environment. * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, MSProject, ACAD, and Visio.* Must possess excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. * Demonstrated strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities.* Willingness to relocate to Jefferson City, MO* Willingness to travel.Preferences-* Proven analytical skills.* Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in delivering presentations to managers and executives.* MOST training and experience.* Self motivated team player.
