ResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with the Board of Directors, the new President/CEO will have the unique opportunity to garner the resources of two states and eleven counties to achieve The Chamber’s mission to “assist members in growing their businesses and to build a metropolitan area that is vibrant and thriving.”


 


Organizational Structure: Reporting to the 50-member Board of Directors, the President/CEO will lead a staff of 38 with five direct reports including the Senior Vice President of Business Growth, the Senior Vice President of Government Relations, the Vice President of Communications, the Vice President of Membership and the Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer.





Requirements

Credentials Sought: We are seeking a forward-thinking leader with experience driving consensus and focus around critical issues. A bachelor’s degree is required; graduate level education is preferred; must possess 10+ years of experience demonstrating a positive track record of upward mobility and successful results; a solid base of experience in leadership, management, budget oversight and supervisory experience is necessary; a professional or volunteer background involving membership, business advocacy, government relations, program management, fundraising and/or providing services to others is preferred.
